What is WikiSearch?
WikiSearch is a Wikipedia search engine that continuously crawls and indexes Wikipedia pages. It searches through titles and URLs to help you find Wikipedia articles quickly.
How does it work?
The crawler automatically visits Wikipedia pages, extracts content, and stores them in a MySQL database. You can search through all indexed pages instantly.
How many pages are indexed?
Check the "Indexed" counter in the header. The crawler runs continuously in the background and adds new pages automatically.
Can I search immediately?
Yes! The search is available instantly when you load the page. Just start typing in the search box.
How many results can I get?
Search returns up to 1,000 results per query. Results are displayed 10 per page with pagination.
Is the crawler always running?
Yes, the crawler runs continuously in the background, discovering new Wikipedia pages and adding them to the database.
